Safety verdicts (such as Safe, Caution, Avoid, or insufficient data) are automated, informational summaries derived from publicly available labeling and lactation references. They may be incomplete, outdated, misinterpreted by automated processing, or not applicable to your personal health situation.

The App currently focuses on medications and active chemicals present in our database. Many food additives, cosmetic base ingredients, and retail product barcodes may not be covered. “Not in Medical Database” does not mean a substance is safe or unsafe—it means we do not have a clinical record for it.
ScanForTwo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), DailyMed, LactMed, the National Library of Medicine, or any other government agency.
Some features may be limited on a free tier (for example, monthly lookup limits). Premium subscriptions or in-app purchases, if offered, are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and subject to their terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.
The App, branding, and software are owned by ScanForTwo or its licensors. Public source data remains subject to its original owners’ terms and public-domain status where applicable.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCANFORTWO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR HEALTH OUTCOMES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR USD $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScanForTwo from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
